This russell is probably the nicest one I've been to... It's so neat and organized as well as clean in there... The employees are wonderful... They're on the expensive side of things compared to other building supplies but other than that Russell is pretty dog gone awesome...

Great people doing great work. They always ask if you need help finding anything and will walk you to things. Sometimes they don't have what you need but usually they do. Pricing is pretty good, sometimes a little high. The store is always clean and has a good feel.

Called them last week Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I was told each day when I spoke about the item that I was interested in I confirmed that the delivery was free and after I go to pay for the material and go round back because I consider just taking it with me. The guy in the back tried to talk me out of it named John, and he was extremely nosy and tried to persuade me not to buy the material stating that I’m buying the wrong one and that a different type of material is used and he asked who my Contractor was and honestly, he was just a bit nosy. He should’ve just fulfilled his job duties and left the rest of the questions and concerns out being that I did not ask for his opinions. Also, the manager apologized that there was in fact a delivery charge of $25 since I don’t live in Auburn and originally I was denied a copy of the receipt to be emailed to me saying that that’s not possible but then the manager was able to send me an email. Luckily he did and we agreed on them delivering the item on Wednesday but instead they called me and told me they’re delivering it today and John got a bit of an attitude with me saying that I told him he could deliver it on any day and I said w

Called them a hour prior to arrival and drove over a hour to get 2 pine tongue and groove 2x6 which I was told they had in stock 27 of them to be exact, upon arrival they told me they just sold them 22 of them between my call and arrival then they called the back and said they didn't even have any in stock for the 22 that was so called just purchased by another contractor. This cost me a of a day and for that I give these guys 1 star for not being correct on their inventory and poor customer service.
